ITT: Achieving Desktop Nirvana; Post Yours, Rate, etc.I’m pretty happy with my setup so far. I think I’m finally going to rest with customization, though I’ll probably change it all in a few months.

  1. /wg/ i just wanna tell you guys this thread made me fall in love with you guys again, this thread is what /wg/ is about, sharing, loving, walls goddamnit

  2. please tell me you have more of this set, i just can’t describe how much i love these 2 you’ve posted

  3. okay you post this damn setup in every desktop thread and it would look a million times better if the two translucent bars DIDN’T FUCKING OVERLAP

  4. Docks normally autohide (Side doing open windows/programs due to taskbar removal).Rainmeter skin is something I made for myself because everything else out there is ugly and/or overused.

  5. That bottom bar only pops up when something happens such as someone logging onto AIM or mounting a harddrive or plugging the computer in, etc…

  6. Clean, minimal, hate the font used on the top left. Wallpaper’s okay I guess.>6.2/10
Clean, not overloaded with widgets, awesome wallpaper. Too many icons at the bottom, you’d probably be better off with some tabs, not a fan of the widget in the top right.>7.7/10
Whole right side is an eyesore.>6.0/10These are all just in my opinion so don’t take them too seriously

  7. I’m
I have no taskbar so all the icons are needed and tab docks are inefficient. It’s on autohide anyway so it doesn’t really matter if its long. Also wallpaper for those interested.

  8. So I don’t have to minimize when I need to see the date. The calendar’s mostly used for noting down important dates and appointments and shit.

  9. well this is my desktopi like it cuz wood-ish WPs have always made me relax…its sumthin with the color, and i think the blue is nice details… also im sort of a minimalist so i use blackbox wich i love

  10. have u just draged the size of the opera-window to fit like that or is there any program to "reserve" edges of the desktop?

  11. Use objectdock to reserve and build the rainmeter (or other sys monster prog) around it to match. That’s how I’d do it.
