  1. Geektool is a good alternative= )You can do a lot with it as long as you got the right scripts. The frame, time, date, memory usage, to-do list, and quote are all set up with Geektool. You’ll have to tinker around with it a little before you get it, but once you do you can do a lot.It helps if you’re familiar with the terminal. http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektool/Here's a site with a little tutorial and a good collection of scripts. http://thememymac.com/2009/geektool/geektool-all-the-scripts-i-could-find-explained-for-beginners/

  2. Hello friend, I own both a mac and a PC, and I came to the same problem, so what i did was this, partitioned hard drive, installed 7, got avast to handle any virus problems, and installed rainmeter. THERE ARE NO GOOD ALTERNATIVES. This was the first time I’ve used 7 to, adn i haven’t switched to mac side yet.

  3. To get graphs like Rainmeter there is XRG, but its limited in where you can put stuff, everything is in one window, so you can’t put stuff anywhere you want it.

  4. ubuntu fag here. Any alternatives to rainmeter? or a good clock widget/skin… and a dock?I’m so horribly knowledge-less it’s making me upset

  5. I’m this guy
Not having used Ubuntu, I can’t recommend anything from experience, but I think there’s a program called Conky that should be able to do what you want

  6. I’m not a huge Nintendo fan, I just like the wallpaper. Not that I particularly care what /wg/ thinks.
